Frightening Experiences

As you know, most of Cambodian people are Buddhist. Moreover, they believe that the spirits of the dead always take care them. According to this story, I have had two frightening experiences.

The first frightening experience is knocked door. Actually, the school in some provinces students are told to patrol the school by turns. Five of my classmates and I were requested to patrol the school. Unfortunately, two of my members and I couldn’t sleep in the quiet midnight. Immediately, I heard the sound of person walking toward to the door. Then I heard the sound of knocking the door. At the time I tried to wake up my friends. After they got up, we stepped forward for a better hearing. Suddenly, the door opened by itself, but we didn’t see anybody there.

The second frightening experience is answered question. Strangely, when I returned from my grandma’s home, I called my mother to open the door for me, but she didn’t answer me. Immediately, I heard the sound from Derm Angse near my house. Then I heard the sound of falling thing. Suddenly, I saw a strange person standing in front of my face and looking at me with big eyes. I wondered. I stepped forward for a better look. And then he smiled at me with long teeth.

To sum up, I was haunted by ghost for two times when patrolling the school and calling my mother, so I think the spirits of the dead truly have on our earth. One more thing they always take care us when we respect them.
